Yesterday, Bonte Filipidis hosted its Christmas Open House in Monte Estoril, welcoming partners, clients, and friends into an exceptional property bathed in winter sunlight. More than a traditional open house, the event was designed as a moment of connection: discovering a remarkable home, sharing a Christmas breakfast, and celebrating the season together just days before the holidays.
Set in one of Monte Estoril’s most sought-after residential areas, the property offered the perfect setting to bring people together in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Guests were able to visit the house through guided tours, exchange with our brokers, and enjoy a warm, convivial moment that reflects what Bonte Filipidis values most: relationships built on trust, quality, and shared experiences.
A Christmas Open House with a Deeper Meaning
Beyond the property itself, this Open House carried a strong purpose at its heart. This year, Bonte Filipidis chose to associate the event with a meaningful charitable initiative, in partnership with Ajuda de Berço, a Portuguese association dedicated to protecting and supporting vulnerable children.
Founded in Lisbon, Ajuda de Berço provides care, shelter, and stability to children who cannot remain with their families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development during critical moments of their lives. The association works closely with social services to offer these children a nurturing environment, emotional support, and a sense of dignity and belonging.
The Christmas Wish Tree: Giving Beyond the Event
For this occasion, Bonte Filipidis created a Christmas Wish Tree inside the property. In collaboration with Ajuda de Berço, the wishes of 30 children were collected ahead of the event. Each child wrote a simple Christmas wish, carefully placed on a festive ornament and hung on the tree.
During the Open House, guests were invited to choose a wish and commit to making it come true. Each participant will now purchase the corresponding gift and send it to the Bonte Filipidis office. In January, all gifts will be personally delivered to Ajuda de Berço, in time for the traditional celebration of the Three Wise Men, a meaningful moment in Portuguese culture.
What made this initiative especially powerful was its simplicity: one wish, one child, one direct act of generosity. No abstraction, no distance, just a tangible way to give.
